[ She is running late, compared to the others...already, she's come to find there's certain people here she's always wanted to meet, though she's sure there's even more she hasn't met yet. Of her own nation, there's a lot of people...and those now affiliated despite coming from elsewhere.
As usual when he's found her in Teyvat, Nahida seems calm but open. ]
I only arrived today, but I spent some of that time researching the information freely available on the network.
[Oh yes, its relief. Its a whole lot of relief. How annoying she can be when she pushes him into some sort of social gathering he doesn't want to be a part of, or when he spends a day making food for the Traveler while he is the one celebrating the birthday.
And just in case...]
The last time you saw me... Was I who I am now? Or was I the god I once wanted to be?
[ Granted, he probably truly couldn't tell without asking - Nahida is kind to most people she meets, and likely would have been willing to meet with even Scaramouche as he was. ]
Hmph. You aren't the only archon here. If it matters anything.
[His creator isn't, though. And maybe that is for the best. To be fair, every time he encountered another person from Teyvat, he couldn't help wondering how they all ended up here. And at times he wondered what Nahida would have to say about it.
At times she makes sense. That is, when she isn't dragging him with her to be social.]
There are a lot of others from Teyvat. Harbingers, even.
Yes, I am aware. Both the Geo and Anemo archons are here...as is "Tartaglia" of the Harbringers. However, I do not believe the latter is a threat to me at present.
[ Or if he is, there's like. A lot of people from Sumeru here who might object so - ]
Tartaglia is quite simple minded. Throw him some monster he can battle against and you won't hear of him anymore.
[And there's enough protection in general.]
Ah. Before I forget. [He moves to rummage through one of his sleeves and finally fishes out a small key.] This is the key to the room that is assigned to me, I am not there often, feel free to use it in my absence.

[He stays silent for a long while, a thoughtful expression on his face.]
It is good to see you.
[It's true, yet it leaves his mouth as if it is right up there with doing some sort of tedious task.]

It appears the protection of Sumeru is perhaps a little unneeded in this place, but even so...

[See? He can be nice. At times.]

[ Trust for trust seems apt. Not like Nahida has settled in all that much so far... ]

[He shakes his head to emphasize that he really doesn't need her key.]
I don't need sleep. [And it isn't like he'll ever be able to call this place home or anything like that.] I have no use for it.

[He flashes the cell phone that has been given to him.]
And for some reason you always know how to find me even when I don't want you to find me.
[Like all those moments where she found him in the forest and told him that being lonely all the time isn't a good idea.
And she's right. Yet, he's not willing to admit that she's right.]
